According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, about 75% of employees have stolen from their workplace, and The National Association for Shoplifting Prevention claims that about 25 million Americans shoplift. Have you ever taken something that didn't belong to you? Did you eat your coworker's yogurt from the communal refrigerator? Swipe the office plant in the hallway? Steal fruit from your neighbor's tree? Filch a hotel lamp as a souvenir? We know you want to get it off your chest! Whatever it is, here's your opportunity to spill the beans — anonymously, of course. Post your naughty deed on our wall and check out the confessions of other iVillagers, too. You'll feel better sharing and knowing you're not the only one with sticky fingers. And don't forget to continue the conversation at our Confessions group!

My bad habit
I take books from my job sometimes. Nobody is ever going to read them anyway and I love books. I took books from my last job too, for the same reason. No one even notices they're gone, I don't work at a library.

Terrible secret
I dont know what got into me, maybe jealousy but I stole my boyfriend's coworker's girlfriend's hermes scarf as we were leaving a party one night. I know she suspects me and my boyfriend's relationship with his coworker has suffered too. I can never admit it to them!

shopping with kids
The same thing has happened to me, when shopping with my kids. I'll find something buried at the bottom of the cart when we get to the car that we didn't pay for. I feel bad, but don't want to trek back into the store to pay for it. I guess I'm horrible that way! And, I figure that it sort of makes up for the number of times that store has overcharged me on items.

little miss theif
When I was around 8 or 9, I stole a crayola key chain from my babysitter. It was cute, in the shape of a crayon box. Anyway, it was on the table by the front door and while my mom was talking to the sitter, I shoved in my pocket. Hmmmm, wonder what ever happened to it....
