Ariane de Bonvoisin is both the founder and CEO of First 30 Days, a media company focused on guiding people through changes, events and decisions. Ariane has helped hundreds of people from all over the world through life changes—big and small, personal and professional. Her book, The First 30 Days: Your Guide to Any Change, is due out from Harper One (a division of Harper Collins) in April 2008. Prior to her launch of First 30 Days, Ariane spent time at Charlie Rose Productions and a year as a senior advisor on A Day in the Life of Africa, a humanitarian project through which 100 top photojournalists were placed in the 53 countries of Africa on a single day. In 2000, she was tapped by Time Warner to become the managing director of a new digital media venture fund. She has also held various positions at Sony, BMG and the Boston Consulting Group.
Born in New York to Belgian and French parents, Ariane lived in five different countries on three continents, learned to speak four languages, and went to five different schools, all before the age of 18. She has an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in economics from the London School of Economics.
Ariane is also an accomplished athlete, having been a professional swimmer and ski instructor in addition to completing several marathons and triathlons. Constantly seeking new adventures, Ariane reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in January 2001 and accompanied a group of students to Antarctica in December 2002.
