The 10 Greatest Travel Games of All Time!

Alphabet Games
For each letter of the alphabet you say the following poem (I'll use "A" for example): A, my name is Alice and my brother's name is Albert, we come from Alabama (states or city) and we sell apples (can be anything). You can also try to find the letters of the alphabet on signs. But it has to be a word that starts with that letter, not a letter in the middle of a word. --iVillager ladykli

One person comes up with a category (let's say, desserts), and everyone, in turn, thinks up an item that fits into the category. (ice cream, cookies, brownies, cherries jubilee). There's no real winner, you just play until you can't think of any more. Another game is for a person to recite a line from a book, and the others have to guess what book it's from. Unfortunately, despite the number of times I've read my kids' books, I still go blank when trying to come up with lines! --iVillager lexma90

Counting Cows
When my sister and I were little and went to our grandmother's house we counted cows. Each got one side of the road and if there was a graveyard on your side, you lost all your cows! Of course I never figured out till later that my sister (who is older) knew which side had the most cows and least amount of graveyards. --iVillager sadsack51
