In 2005, three guys and a digital camera took Saturday Night Live's wacky, twisted humor to a whole new level. The "SNL Digital Short" has been a highlight of Saturday night ever since -- and this week, Adam Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer (a.k.a. The Lonely Island) debuted their 100th video. It's just as funny (and weird, and obscene) as you'd expect, and features some fabulous celebrity cameos. Watch below!
Starring Samberg, Taccone and Justin Bieber (inexplicably playing Schaffer), the 100th short is a music video packed full of blink-and-you-miss-it references to the trio's greatest hits. Justin Timberlake shows up to pay homage to his Emmy-winning short "D*ck in a Box"; Michael Bolton sings a few bars of "Jack Sparrow"; Jon Hamm plays shirtless saxophonist Sergio from "The Curse"; and Natalie Portman updates her 2006 gangsta rap, chanting,"Yeah, I had a baby, but I'm still crazy!"
SNL cast members are on hand to reprise their favorite characters, with Kristin Wiig gyrating in her "Body Fuzion" costume, Kenan Thompson doing his Reba McEntire impression from "Two Worlds Collide," and Fred Armisen tap-dancing as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from "Iran So Far."
Also making appearances are episode host Will Ferrell and random guest star Usher (who sings, "I've never been in a digital short, but these white boys are obsessed with their d*cks." Truth!).
If the 100th episode is making you nostalgic, you can watch all of NBC's Digital Shorts Collection online (and prepare to kiss your workday goodbye). We hope there are 100 more of these in the future, because we love them even more than Mr. Pibb and Red Vines.
