Divorce and remarriage are complicated. Even though being a stepmom is anything but easy, people tend to be biased towards first wives and their struggles to raise children with an ex and his new love. Stepmoms don't get a whole lot of public sympathy, so most learn to hold their tongues when things don't go their way. But there's plenty they’d love to say to their stepkids' moms that they don’t -- stuff that might seem blunt but could break the tension and help everyone parent better together. Here, the biggies.

I Am Not a Bimbo
I may be younger than you. I may wear more makeup or have longer hair. I may go to the gym five days a week (hey, I have the abs to prove it!). But don’t judge me for that -- I’ll bet you did some of these things back when you were a newlywed, too. Please recognize that my age and my appearance don’t make me a bimbo, a slut or a trophy wife -- and it’s unfair of you to label me that way, especially in front of the kids.
