Swear Off Storage Spaces

Are you renting a space to keep items you're planning to use “someday”? And now there's enough stuff to furnish a whole other house, or stuff? Time to clean it out.

“Storage spaces are generally a way of delaying or putting things on hold,” says Walfish. “Sometimes this may be necessary -- for instance, in a case of unexpected trauma, such as a fire. More often, people shove their possession into a storage space and never go there. It’s much better to sell, donate or gift these items rather than having them weigh you down. You will feel a sense of freedom and liberation. Having too many things can constrict and inhibit your life.”

The truth is if you’re not currently using it chances are you don’t need it.
