Fresh from its Emmy wins on Sunday -- including a third consecutive award for Outstanding Comedy Series -- 30 Rock Season 3 on DVD hits stores this week.
The timing couldn't be better for the NBC comedy, which is going on its fourth season. With each season, the writing continues to get better, which might explain why the show was nominated for a record 22 Emmy Awards.
Not only are you getting the best comedy on television with this DVD set, you're getting a wide range of bonus features:
Behind-The-Scenes With The Muppets – A hilarious look at some of the 30 Rock cast as Muppets and the work that goes into operating them by the puppeteers.
Audio Commentary – Hear what the actors and composer on 30 Rock have to say about three episodes: "The Ones" (Jane Krakowski & Jack McBrayer), "Mamma Mia" (Alan Alda) and "Kidney Now!" (Tina Fey & Jeff Richmond)
Deleted Scenes – 13 deleted scenes including four that were cut from the episode "Do-Over."
1-900-OKFACE – Liz Lemon as you have never seen her before.
Season Finale Table Read – A rare chance to see what goes on behind-the-scenes before an episode is filmed. The stars go through the table read for "Kidney Now," the season three finale.
Behind The Scenes Photo Gallery – A slideshow of never-before-seen images from the third season.
The Making of "He Needs A Kidney" – In order to get Jack’s biological dad, Milton, a kidney, Jack puts together a star-studded musical number in the season finale. Everyone from Sheryl Crow to Mary J. Blige appeared on the fictional song. You get the opportunity to see how the song came together and how all the musical artists were on the same page when filming the track.
Alec Baldwin’s Saturday Night Live Monologue (2/14/09) – Baldwin’s opening monologue when his 30 Rock colleague Kenneth Parcell (Jack McBrayer) steals his thunder.
Tracy Jordan’s Rant – Tracy Morgan doing his best Christian Bale impersonation in a staged profanity-laced tirade that mocks the actor’s outburst earlier this year on the set of Termination Salvation.
Award Acceptance Speeches – In case you missed Fey or Alec Baldwin’s acceptance speeches from the Emmy Awards, here's your chance to watch them.
The awards speak for themselves when it comes to 30 Rock. It’s showing no signs of slowing down and features an impressive guest list each season.
With Season 4 not premiering until Oct. 15, here's your opportunity if you're new to the show to get familiar with Liz, Tracy, Jack, Kenneth, and the rest of the crew at TGS with Tracy Jordan.
