In just a few short weeks, school will be back in session. And whether you're trying to buy the perfect backpack for your kids or heading out to classes yourself, it's not always easy to find styles that won't make you look like you're about to hike up a mountain.
So we've rounded up five of our favorite styles that are sure to be the envy of all your classmates. And, they're all under $50!
1. Nylon Cordura School Bag ($42 at American Apparel)
This bag is perfect for those students who like to keep it simple. The monochromatic look is so sleek, and it comes in an array of fun colors -- eight in all -- so you can be as bold or low key as you like.
2. BDG Nylon Backpack (pictured, $48 at Urban Outfitters)
The soft suede gives this bag both charm and a bit of cheer. And It has pockets inside and out so you'll have more than enough room for all your pens, pencils, and cell phone.
3. O'Hanlon Mills Backpack ($28 at Urban Outfitters)
We spotted this style in the Men's department -- but we weren't deterred! The light blue color is so cute and since it's made from denim, we're betting on some serious durability from this one.
4. Baggu Shabd Tote ($48 at Baggu)
One of our all time favorites resources for reusable shopping bags, Baggu has recently teamed up with Brooklyn-based artist, Shabd Alexander, to create a hand dyed collection of totes and backpacks. The tote rings in at just under $50, is super-lightweight, and we love that it's made from recycled cotton!
5. Kimchi Blue Linen Bucket Bag ($48 at Urban Outfitters)
Not your typically backpack fair, but we're fans of a long strap (which means lots of comfort) and that this style would easily transition from sitting in a classroom to lunch with friends.
Did we leave any out? What's the cutest backpack you've seen lately? Chime in below!
