Following Betty White's highly lauded hosting stint on Saturday Night Live (dusty muffin, anyone?) and the announcement of her new TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland, everyone is trying to get a piece of the white-hot octogenarian.
We recently reported that Dancing with the Stars is dying to have the 88-year-old actress on the show next season, potentially making her the oldest contestant to rumba on the show! And there are now even more Facebook groups popping up calling for the funny lady to host everything from the Emmys (which are already being hosted by Jimmy Fallon) to the Academy Awards.
While we're sure the offers to guest star will continue to pour in, here are five shows we think could actually benefit from a dose of Betty White:
Everyone from Neil Patrick Harris to Jennifer Lopez is trying to get on the hit Fox show, but White should move to the front of the list. We'd love to see her give the Gleeks hell as Sue Sylvester's (Jane Lynch) tracksuit-sporting mother.
White as the quintessential cougar? Yes, please. Cougar Town's wine-drinking forty-somethings would have nothing on this frisky older woman on the block. Perhaps she could move in on Jules' man? Bring on the feud!
Forget Babs! We'd love to see Betty as the eldest member of The View's roundtable. Her sharp tongue would make her fit right in with fellow comediennes Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Joy Behar. Plus, wouldn't you love to see her go toe-to-toe with Elisabeth Hasselbeck?
They say it's never too late to find love, so the unmarried White could give it a go on America's favorite dating reality show. Imagine a throng of potential suitors lining up to get a rose from Rose!
Okay, this one may be a stretch, but Betty did learn a thing or two about Miami -- where season 2 of the hit MTV show takes place -- during her Golden Girls days. We think the guidos and guidettes could learn something from the world-wise performer... and could teach her a few things in return. Imagine White with a Snooki pouf!
Which show do you think Betty White should join? Chime in below!
