The 7 O'Clock Bedtime Schedule: How She Does It

• 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.: Day begins. Breakfast is served

• 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.: An average school day

• 3:15 to 4:30 p.m.: After-school snack, followed by playtime or weekly activity

• 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.: Dinner preparation, homework

• 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.: Dinnertime

• 6:00 to 6:15 p.m.: Washing up for bed

• 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.: Reading time, books, or oral stories

• 6:45 to 7:00 p.m.: Bedtime ritual (saying prayers, singing lullabyes)

• 7:00 p.m.: Lights out
