From that number it sounds like everyone's polishing off a bag of cookies every day, but the truth is we consume certain foods with a high sugar content that may not always be obvious. The problem is that many foods don’t taste particularly sweet for the large amount of sugar they contain. Our taste buds can be easily fooled, so it’s time to get the skinny on sugar-packed foods and cut down on sugar without feeling deprived.
