If you still watch hours and hours of the original '90s teen drama, Beverly Hills, 90210 -- you can always catch a repeat on SoapNet! -- here's a little tidbit that's sure to make you smile. After ten years apart, former 90210 heartthrobs Luke Perry and Jason Priestley are reuniting on the small screen to film a brand new TV movie.
Sadly the boys won't be returning to Rodeo Drive and the Peach Pit. But they'll both be involved in the Hallmark Channel's new Western flick, Goodnight for Justice, set to air sometime in 2011.
And, while we're used to seeing the guys in front of the camera, both will actually be doing behind-the-scenes work this go 'round. Perry, 45, is the executive producer on the film, which is about a small boy in the American Old West who witnesses the violent murder of his parents. He grows up to become a circuit judge who is "hell-bent on justice," according to the network. While, Priestley, 40, is directing the flick set to begin production in August.
"We are thrilled to be bringing this exciting Western to life for Hallmark Movie Channel," says Ira Pincus, the executive producer, of eOne Television. "Luke has been a great partner from scratch, extremely passionate about this film, and Jason brings a seasoned perspective to the project."
It's been 10 years since the original 90210 went off the air, but we'll always have a soft spot for Perry and Priestley, who played BFFs Dylan and Brandon on the Aaron Spelling drama.
