Math with Tongs

From: Crayon Freckles
Why We Love It: Math made fun? Score! A couple of kitchen utensils and a packet of colorful pom poms will help your tot develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination -- but he'll just think he's having a blast!
What You’ll Need: kitchen tongs, a muffin tin, two bags of colored pom poms and construction paper
How to Do It:
Cut colored circles of construction paper to full the bottom of your muffin tin; then dump pom poms on the table and let your tot use his hands (or the kitchen tongs) to match the each color of pom poms to the appropriate part of the tin. Simple and fun!
