Kyra Sedgwick, 45, began her career as a teen on Another World, starred in movies like Singles and formed a rare solid celeb marriage when she wed Kevin Bacon in 1988, with whom she has son Travis, 22, and daughter Sosie, 19. But her biggest career success came at age 40, with her Golden Globe-winning, Emmy-nominated role as feisty detective Brenda on the hit TNT drama The Closer. "We are the age we are," Sedgwick told the The Hollywood Reporter. "And the irony, of course, is that unquestionably every actor gets better as he or she gets older... I had an agent who told me I was I too old at 28."
