Adam Lambert Slams Susan Boyle

The outspoken 'American Idol' alum can't hide his true feelings about the British chanteuse's talent

Internationally famous talent-show contestants have gotta stick together, right? Think again. American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has been taking pot-shots at Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle, calling her album “terrible.” And that's not all!

According to MTV News, Lambert gleefully recalled that he laughed out loud when he listened to Boyle’s cover of "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones. “I just died when I heard it,” 28-year-old Lambert told the U.K.'s Gay Times magazine. “I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!"

Boyle defenders may suspect that Lambert, whose current single is “Whataya Want From Me,” may be speaking out of jealousy: While his 2009 album For Your Entertainment topped Rihanna and Lady Gaga during its debut week, it still charted beneath Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream.

Is Boyle’s tribute to the Rolling Stones really that bad? (Or any worse than Lambert’s notorious cover of Johnny Cash's “Ring of Fire” on Idol?) Watch the live performance of "Wild Horses" below and decide for yourself…
