Add a Celebrity's Coat to Your Closet (for Charity)

Bid on the stars' outerwear and help a good cause this holiday season

What a gentleman -- Justin Timberlake is offering you his coat!

Lots of athletes and celebrities, including JT, his girlfriend Jessica Biel, Brooke Shields and Sarah Jessica Parker, have donated their winter outerwear to help support the Glad Products Company's Celebrity Coat Auction. Through December 27, you can bid on these star toppers on eBay! (Wonder if they emptied out those pockets...)

From now until December 16, score a bag containing coats from athletes Gretchen Bleiler, Bode Miller, Bobby Brown, Jim Whittaker and Hannah Teter; celeb personalities Clinton Kelly, Kyle Richards and Kathy Lee Gifford; or TV faves Florence Henderson, Bob Saget and Sara Rue.

And then starting December 17, fork over some holiday jingle for Brooke Shields' camel peacoat (pictured), Sarah Jessica Parker's fur-trimmed coat (pictured) and Jayma Mays' outerwear. Or scoop up Justin Timberlake's army green jacket (pictured) and Colbie Caillat and Lupe Fiasco's duds. Rachel Zoe put her black belted winter trench (pictured) on the auction block, along with Bobbie Thomas and Tim Gunn's stylish wares. Plus, Tinseltown goods from Billy Crystal, Jessica Biel and Nia Vardalos will also be available.

All proceeds from the bids will benefit One Warm Coat, a nonprofit that provides coats and cold-weather accessories to families in need. Think of it as the best holiday prezzie -- Hollywood loot for you and a little warmth for others.

Plus, in conjunction with the auction, you can snag some free trash bags from Glad (through May 30, 2011) to help with your own community projects -- or to fill with your own coat donations. For more information, visit
