LISTEN: Adele's New 'James Bond' Theme Song "Skyfall"

The pregnant singer recorded the theme song for the highly anticipated new movie. Tell us what you think of it!

Adele is back, and this time she's teamed up with James Bond.

The new theme song for the upcoming 007 movie Skyfall has been released, and it's just as fantastic as we'd hoped it would be when Adele's involvement in the project was announced. Hearkening back to some of the best Bond themes from the past 50 years, the track has an epic feel that is strengthened by Adele's strong vocals and a 77-piece orchestra.

The 24-year-old songstress (who's currently expecting a baby with Simon Konecki) recorded the song at Abbey Road Studios along with her "Rolling in the Deep" collaborator Paul Epworth. Her take on the Bond theme song is now being compared to the Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever themes sung by Shirley Bassey.

"I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for Skyfall," Adele said in a statement when her involvement was first announced, according to the BBC. "There’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and [producer] Paul [Epworth] had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no-brainer to do it in the end. It was also a lot of fun writing to a brief, something I’ve never done which made it exciting. When we recorded the strings, it was one of the proudest moments of my life. I’ll be back combing my hair when I’m 60 telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day, I’m sure!”

Skyfall is directed by Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem and Judi Dench. It's due in theaters on Nov. 9. And, coincidentally, Adele's baby is due any day now!
