After a tough year, it looks like the members of Aerosmith have decided that they don't want to miss a thing and have put their differences aside.
According to Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, the whole band will be returning to the stage together this June for the U.K.'s Download Festival.
"In the early days of Aerosmith we were infected with the vibe coming out of the U.K. with The Yardbirds, Blues Breakers, Pretty Things and the Stones, and we wanted what they had bad," Tyler said in a statement on the festival's website. "So baby, we're coming home. Rock & Roll can be pure sex and we can't wait to Download..."
It's been a rough road for the band, which announced after Tyler entered rehab for the second time in 2009 they may look for a new lead singer. But sources say the Download Festival only wanted the band if Tyler came with it.
Confirming reports that the band, who has been together for four decades, has found some common ground is drummer Joey Kramer. "Aerosmith is back!" he posted on his Twitter account on Wednesday.
