Alcohol and Breastmilk?
Is it harmful to my baby if I have a glass of wine or beer now and then? I've seen mixed reviews.

The indication is that the amount of alcohol in the mother's blood stream is the same as in her milk. When the alcohol is out of her blood stream it will also be out of her milk. It probably isn't a very good idea for small children to be getting alcohol. Also, when a mother is under the influence of alcohol, it raises the question of whether she is able to take care of her baby as well as she does when she is sober.
