30 Rock star Alec Baldwin, 51, was taken to New York's Lenox Hill Hospital late last night when a 911 call came from the Emmy winner's West Side Manhattan apartment, WNBC reported early this morning. The call was believed to have been made by Baldwin's 14-year-old daughter Ireland, concerned that the actor was "unresponsive" and speculated that he may have taken pills.
Baldwin's spokesman Matthew Hiltzik stated on behalf of the actor, "This was a misunderstanding on one person's part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital, he's completely fine and will be at work today."
In 2007, a voicemail of Baldwin leaked in which he left daughter Ireland an angry message, infamously calling her a "thoughtless little pig." The actor later apologized for the incident.
Baldwin was last seen in the 2009 comedy It's Complicated and is set to co-host the 82nd Academy Awards with Steve Martin on Mar. 7 on ABC.
