Alexis Bellino Not Returning to 'The Real Housewives of Orange County'?

"Alexis was really tired of being bullied and chose home and family life over celebrity," reveals a source to Us Weekly

Well, Orange County Housewives, looks like you won't have Alexis Bellino to kick around anymore. After three seasons on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Orange County, she's reportedly not coming back.

"Alexis was really tired of being bullied and chose home and family life over celebrity," an inside source told Us Weekly. She "wanted to go back to her simple life in Orange County."

Her decision isn't at all surprising. She recently issued an ultimatum: "If I do the show again, I would have to have a friend on the show with me," she told Celebuzz last month. "Who wants to go into a pack of wolves and not have anyone with her?"

Season 7 was particulary rough for Bellino, who clashed with nearly everyone in the cast and even lost her former best friend, Gretchen Rossi. As of last month, the only person she was still on good terms with was Vicky Gunvalson. And with Gunvalson's participation in season 8 up in the air, Bellino would indeed be entering the wolf pack alone.

The final straw was the season 7 reunion shows, when the others -- including Tamra Barney and Heather DuBrow -- ganged up on Bellino. "You are psychotic, Jesus Jugs!" yelled Barney at one point. (That nickname, by the way, prompted Bellino and her husband to consider legal action for defamation.)

Bellino has already found work outside the Housewives franchise as a lifestyle reporter for a local Fox affiliate and in a small acting role on General Hospital. Why take abuse when you don't have to? No doubt Bellino asked herself that question, and the answer was clear. So, buh-bye, ladies!
