Alicia Keys Goes On A Blender
Ah, the lovely and beautiful Alicia Keys is on the cover of the new issue of Blender, and though she may appear to be as sweet and gentle as her music, the songstress took this opportunity to reveal quite the different side.
Alicia tells the mag that she wears a gold AK-47 pendant around her neck "to symbolize strength, power and killing 'em dead." She also opens up about a tough time she faced right after hitting it big in the music industry.
"I was hanging off the edge of a cliff," the piano master revealed. "Something had to give, or I was gonna lose my mind." Her manager said Alicia's depression resulted in "dark, weird" music.
Now, Alicia is better and is working a different angle.
"I'm discovering my sexual side," she says. "I recorded this song ... it's so sensual, it moves you."
So, if her dark days inspired dark music, and now she's writing sexy songs, one might deduce that things are going well in the romance department for Ms. Keys, and that someone is doing some tickling of the ivories.
