This is more of an idea than a recipe, but what a good idea it is.

| 16 dried Mission figs, tough stems removed | 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar, or to taste | |
| 16 roasted unsalted almonds |
Cut a small slit in each fig at the point where the stem was and push one almond inside.
Using a fine-mesh sieve, lightly dust figs with confectioners’ sugar.
