The legal troubles continue for Amanda Bynes, who now has one less car to (illegally) drive.
Only days after a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge reminded the 26-year-old starlet's lawyer that she must not drive without a valid driver's license, Bynes was once again caught driving on Sunday. But this time the cops impounded her vehicle.
According to Victor Gill of the Burbank Airport Police, Bynes -- whose license was suspended Sept. 6 after two counts of hit-and-run -- was stopped and cited for driving with a suspended license on Sunday morning.
"I can confirm that Amanda Bynes was cited at approximately 8:20 a.m. Sunday for driving with a suspended license," Gill confirmed to People on Sept. 16. "Her car was impounded and she received a misdemeanor citation. She was not arrested. I believe she was by herself. This occurred on Hollywood Way, just south of the main entrance to the Bob Hope Airport."
Although Gill did not explain why Bynes was stopped in the first place, it's clear that Bynes had not stopped getting behind the wheel of her black BMW 5-series despite her multiple run-ins with the law that culminated in her driver's license being suspended.
Perhaps now, Bynes -- who will presumably not be allowed to release her car without a valid driver's license -- will finally get the message to hire a chauffeur, catch rides from family and friends or use public transportation rather than risk even more driving infractions.
Bynes' arraignment is scheduled on Sept. 27.
