Amanda Bynes Smoking Pot While Driving on a Suspended License?

TMZ claims the actress was taking hits from a pipe in a Home Depot parking lot in the San Fernando Valley following a joyride

Someone, anyone, please get Amanda Bynes to driver's ed.

Apparently the former Nickelodeon child star missed the memo that you aren't supposed to smoke from a drug pipe and drive on a suspended license like she was during a joyride Tuesday. To make matters worse, TMZ -- who seemingly had someone tailing Bynes for hours that day -- reports that the 26-year-old was spotted "cutting off other drivers and violating various traffic laws" while driving.

The TMZ paparazzi followed Bynes from a Baja Fresh in the San Fernando Valley to a Home Depot over the course of several hours. Along the journey, Bynes was repeatedly spotted taking hits from a pipe in parking lots and cruising around "without purpose." Photos taken of Bynes' car show a pipe shaped to look like a cigarette lighter and evidence of cannabis.

Keep in mind that the DMV suspended Bynes's license a few weeks ago, so she isn't supposed to be driving at all. TMZ believes that she lost her right to drive because she refused to take a sobriety test after her April DUI. Though she has since denied that she was drunk, a refusal to take a sobriety test in California is grounds for a license to be suspended. And who knows, maybe Bynes had been high then, too.

This whole situation seems like a recipe for disaster. Though Bynes didn't hurt herself or anyone else during her cruise around SoCal, she clearly is a bit out of control. The former All That star has committed numerous hit-and-runs this year in addition to her DUI where she crashed into a parked police car.

We don't want to know what has to happen before Bynes gets taken off the road for good -- or at least until she can clean her act up. Hopefully she gets in some trouble with police for clearly breaking the rules of her suspended license Tuesday. She already got a verbal reprimand for driving on a suspended license after being pulled over on Sept. 9, but clearly that wasn't effective enough.
