One is the loneliest number that you’ll ever see. So isn’t it nice to have a reality show, like Amazing Race, where it takes two? That’s right, those loveable and dysfunctional pairs are back to embark on another mad dash around the globe in a quest for a million dollars. The show is famous for pairing interesting teams, like father and daughter and broken-up couples. So, the drama comes not only from watching the teams compete with others but also in watching the teams fight amongst themselves.
Like any reality show that’s been on for a while, you can be sure that AR’s 10th season opener was no stranger to the “twist.” Best friends Bilal and Sa’eed became all too familiar with that, when their adventure ended early in the first episode. They were the 12th, or last team, to arrive in China. Instead the scaling The Great Wall, they landed a one-way ticket home. As the remaining teams raced around China, married couple Vipul and Arti encountered navigational problems and ended up as the second team sent packing.
The second episode showed dating couple Peter and Sarah shoot their way to the top of the pack, while cheerleaders Kellie and Jamie had their last hoorah in Mongolia. Now in the third episode only nine teams remain, but not all will stay in the game. Here’s how it all went down:
