I don't know about you, but I am OBSESSED with The Amazing Race. I get so caught up in all the drama within and between the teams that when the finale airs every season, I'm so emotionally exhausted that I swear to myself it's the last time I'll watch the show. But then the next season starts and I can't help myself.
So it's with great pleasure and a little trepidation that I report CBS has announced the new teams for their 12th season which premieres Sunday, November 4th. And here's my predictions based solely on reading the bios:
Team I Already Love But Know Won't Win: Nicolas and Donald, grandfather/grandson from the midwest. I think the race will be too much for a 68-year-old, but I love the family bonding.
Team I'm Psyched To See On TV: Kate and Pat, married, Lesbian Ministers from California. What do ministers really say when they're insanely frustrated they just missed the last flight out of the day from Buenos Aires to Croatia?
Team I'm Predicting To Win: Azaria and Hendekea, brother and sister from California and New Orleans. They're are both engineers, meaning they are super smart which means they'll find interesting ways out of typical problems.
Team I Already Hate So Much You Have No Idea: Kynt and Vyxsin, Dating Goths from Kentucky. First of all, look at their names. One is totally fake and the other is trying to be different by spelling Kent with a "Y". And second of all this is the description in their bio:
"Representing the "Goth" community in Louisville has embedded a strong sense of "us against the world" mentality in these two Racers."
Us against the world? Yeah, dyeing your hair pink and wearing dark eye make up is so unconventional and wild! Note to Kynt and Vyxsin: If you have to tell people you're so different from the rest of the world, then you're not.
