Taylor and Lisa Marie Presley -- a hunk, a hunk of burnin'... rubber. Taylor's magical moment of Graceland, speeding off to escape paparazzi in a golf cart with Elvis' daughter. Now that should be the Idol-made commercial they air tonight!
First thing's first... Tommy Mottola watches American Idol!?! It was very impressive to hear the music mogul have so much knowledge of the contestants and their performances.
With "Suspicious Minds," Paula told Chris last night: "See ya in the finals."
Simon told Taylor he "sung his way into the semi finals" with his rendition of "In the Ghetto."
I went into last night thinking Elliott was going to be the one bounced, but he was on his game! Simon told him, "You deserve to go to another round." I totally agree. It would be a shame for him to leave after those two flawless performances.
If you take out the fan base and go by last night alone... it might be -- gasp -- the last girl standing: Katharine. Did Mr. McPhee weep one last time for daddy's little girl in this competition?
