American Idol Recap: Boys Inspired

This is dedicated to the ones they love... This week the contestants pick an inspirational person in their life to sing to. The fellas are back starting it off again. Tonight's motto: living and learning -- it's one of the best examples life has to offer. The boys turned it on. They weren't about to relive the defeat they took last week after seeing what the girls brought to the competition. Paula was up dancing most of the night. The Dawg was feeling it too. Simon for the most part was not only being grouchy, I'd say he was undeniably rude on a few of occasions. After Brandon Rogers sang "Time After Time" for his grandmother, he held his hand close to his heart. Simon ragged on him, saying, "rubbish... all this I'm feeling it is nonsense." After that whole discourteous mess, Brandon tells his father (in the audience) Happy Birthday. And as if Simon wasn't horrible enough blasting him on how he portrays emotions for his deceased grandma - he digs deeper, "It's my mom's birthday in November. Why not mention it... I like puppies." What was irrelevant here was for Simon to do that. However, there is no way those snarky remarks hurt Brandon in the competition. He's is a great singer and with that smile... he's not going anywhere any time soon. Simon prods into others too, but he gets his share back as well. Read on...
