SHOCK AND EMOTION...I don't know what is more wrong... the fact that Michael Johns is no longer in the American Idol competition or how Ryan gave him a flicker of hope in the end that he might stick around another week. I know Ryan teases contestants, but there was something horribly, evily selfish about how he acted tonight. It was like he was just happy it wasn't his precious Kristy Lee Cook. I mean, can you be any more obvious? The other extremely talented Carly Smithson and Syesha Mercado also had the least amount of votes. It had been speculated upon that Syesha would be the one to go home this week. The Australian honey was supposed to stick around for finals week. I had a plan! I have more to say on this, but I want to know what you think.
Oh yeah, and so far Idol Gives Back raised over $60 million dollars and its not over - you can still donate. Tonight, there was a spill over of celebrity talent pleading for your money for the six charitable organizations it represents. The show continued its feel-good vibe until the end when Michael Johns was told he had the least amount of votes. It was how he was told. Talk about ruining a moment. Very tacky Ryan Seacrest.
