Still looking for a fab destination for your summer vacation? What about Idol camp?
That's right, American Idol is opening a summer camp where past contestants like Kimberly Locke and Bucky Covington will come and critique all you future Kelly Clarksons. I say future Kelly's because she's a winner, unlike Kimberly and Bucky.
No AI winners have agreed to make an appearance nor has America's favorite judge, Simon signed on.
Idol Camp begins its first session on July 7, 2007 in Northfield, Massachusetts and it's going to set you back a cool $2,900 for 10 days. Spaces are still available, but if you get into the camp, don't think that guarantees you an entry into the television show, it does not. But you do get singing tips from a guy named Bucky, so you can check that off your life's to-do list. And maybe they'll have s'mores!
