Having grown up in Wisconsin, I have a soft-spot for all things related to the cheese capitol of the world. So, I can't help sharing the news that last year's American Idol winner Taylor Hicks has found himself a Milwaukee maven. The gal in question? OnMilwaukee.com has identified her as Caroline Lyders, the co-anchor of the weekday edition of WISN 12 News This Morning.
Caroline told the site, "Yes, Taylor and I are friends, and as a journalist I respect your asking. But beyond that, I'd rather not comment on my personal life."
Booo! Whatever, I've got a trip planned to go home in a few weeks so I'll be on the look out for all of you Soul Patrol-ers out there. Let's see, a couple like that... I'm thinking they'll hit up Hi-Hat bar/restaurant/lounge/etc on Milwaukee's trendy east side -- or maybe Blu on top of the Pfister Hotel. If you're a cheesehead like me, you'll know I'm talking about.
