This week on Top Model, Bianca's attitude reaches new heights. She pretends to be helpful and critique Kimberly's walk, but later tells camera's she's giving Kimberly bad tips on purpose. Bianca also says that Heather receives too much pity as she receives a friendly makeover from the other girls in the house. I guess she's just upset no one has offered to help her out with her red hair!
The ladies make their way to the Fashion Madhouse where Miss. Nurse J is ready to cure them of their fashion illnesses! Miss J says the girls need to learn how to deal with some of the restrictions that come with being a model. The first task? The ladies are asked to strut their stuff in straight jackets and heels!
After the girls walk, Miss J says Heather needs to work on her posture—keeping her head and neck straight, Bianca’s face needs to be softer and she needs to get rid of her signature walk, but says Saleisha has great control.
When the girls return home, another minor catfight ensues. And you guessed it—it’s Bianca again. This girl just doesn’t know how to stop! Basically, Bianca thinks she’s going to win because she’s apparently amazing in her own mind, and Saleisha knows she’s going to win because she has the upper hand when it comes to having modeling experience. This automatically puts both girls at odds. Bianca thinks Saleisha brags too much, and Saleisha thinks Bianca tries to act like she knows so much when she doesn’t. I say I’m sick of both of these girls, how about you?
Moving on! After the girls receive their Tyra mail, they meet with fashion show producer Roy Campbell and fashion designer Colleen Quen for their second challenge, which is on the runway. The girls are asked to model Colleen’s restrictive clothing on the runway, while doing their best to convey the spirit of the outfit.
Most of the girls seem very stiff and have some trouble walking. There is even a moment where Ebony and Sarah bump shoulders on stage. Ebony is later accused of bumping into Sarah purposefully. What do you think? Did Ebony want to take Sarah out or was it just an accident?
For a second time, Saleisha wins the challenge! Her prize? A trip to Paris to be in Colleen Quen’s fashion show!
Next up is the photo shoot. Jay Manuel explains to the girls that in keeping with the restriction theme, the girls will be rock climbing in fashion gowns. Seriously, is this what high fashion has come to?
The shoot goes relatively well. While they seem stiff at first, most of the girls let go and get some great shots. Lisa, who is afraid of heights, is excellent. Saleisha gets a great shot upside down, which impresses judges because of her bravery. Jenah, a former rock climbing instructor, impresses Jay the most because of how well she knows her body. Heather, once again, pulls through and has one of the most beautiful photos out of all the girls. His advice to the rest of the girls: stop self-analyzing each frame!
Sitting on the panel is Tyra, Nigel Barker, Miss J, Twiggy, and fashion show producer Roy Campbell. The judges are once again very impressed with Heather. They think Ebony needs more confidence. Twiggy jokes that Kimberly’s photo looks like she hit the wall. They tell Saleisha that while her shot was beautiful, she needs to continue to fight against her girl-next-door looks. Bianca, they say, looks uncomfortable. Unfortunately, Bianca is not kicked off this time. It is Kimberly who is sent home packing and crying for her boyfriend.
