I love Brooke and was so sad to see her go. I was even more heartbroken when they eliminated her on her graduation night! A little coincidental? Well, I'm not the only one who thinks so -- Get Brooke's take on her elimination, life in the Top Model house and the judging process. How did you get involved with Top Model? Brooke: Well, ironically enough one of my good friends, Lisa, was the one who wanted to do the show. She wanted to audition for it, so she looked up all the information online and kinda just dragged me with her. I was only 17 at the time so technically I wasn't even old enough to audition for it, but I was going to be 18 by the time the show started. So they let me audition, one thing led to another and somehow I ended up in Los Angeles doing Top Model. Did you always want to model or was it just on a whim kinda thing? Brooke: It was definitely a whim to go audition for the show, but I've always had the desire, you know. I'd had people come up to me in the past and say, "Are you a model?" or "You should try modeling. You would make a great model." So that made me sort of consider it. It had always been in the back of my mind; this just seemed like the perfect chance to go try it out, you know? And what do you know! On the show we saw that you had to give up your high school prom and you also had to give up graduation. Brooke: Right. How did that feel and how did if feel when you found out you'd have to leave on the night of your graduation ceremony? Brooke: Well, when I was going through it, it really didn't bother me at all. We stayed so busy that I really didn't have time to think about it. When everyone was getting ready for prom and all that good stuff, I just had so many other things on my mind -- same with graduation. But when I actually got eliminated on the very night of my graduation, I was a little disappointed, just because I knew that everyone back home was celebrating and having a good time. And what a terrible coincidence that, you know, I got eliminated the exact night of my graduation.
