Well, I, for one, am relieved! After being worried that Amy Poehler was going to deliver her kid on the SNL stage while doing her Sarah Palin rap, the funny lady actually made it to the hospital!
Amy and hubby Will Arnett welcomed their first child into the world, a boy, on Saturday. Archie Arnett weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz., and his birth was about the only thing that managed to keep Amy from being on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
During the "Weekend Update" segment of SNL Amy's co-anchor Seth Meyers announced to a cheering crowd: "Amy Poehler is not here tonight because she is having a baby."
"Amy, Will and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably," Amy's rep said.
