Amy Winehouse is making all kinds of improvements to her life. The troubled singer, who has been in and out of rehab for years, is reportedly clean and healthy -- and has gotten herself a pair of new boobs!
Amy's dad, Mitch Winehouse, appeared on the British TV show This Morning on Wednesday, where he told the world that his daughter is, um, a changed woman.
"Fantastic, fantastic," he said of his daughter's health. "Her boobs are great as well." He then smiled and said, "I shouldn't have said that should I? She looks absolutely fantastic."
Amy's breast enhancement comes after years of turbulence in her personal life, including a broken marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil (who was in prison) and an ongoing battle with drugs and alcohol. Her dad says that Amy "has not been sick now for a year," but Mitch acknowledges that his daughter will have to continue to fight.
"There is no total recovery. It's a recovery. It's a slow, gradual recovery," he said. "If you look back to where we were a year ago, you know we are in a different planet. We are in a different space and a different time and a different person. We all are. We're all recovering."
Knowing first-hand what it's like to deal with a loved one battling addiction, Mitch has taken on the task of producing a documentary about families coping with drug problems. "The best thing we can do for our loved ones who are addicted is to maintain that normal family atmosphere. Why should they feel guilty? When the person has recovered and wants to reenter the family they don't want to see a family that's destroyed, and that can happen."
