If Amy Winehouse invites you for a night of theatre in Buckinghamshire, England, it's probably best to say "No, no, no."
People.com reports that the beleaguered "Rehab" singer may be investigated for assault after what went down during a live production of Cinderella on Saturday night. According to an account in British news outlet The Sun, Winehouse "became boisterous" and "shouted obscenities at the cast" before security tried to shunt her into a private booth. That's when she allegedly "kicked and punched" a theater manager. Utlimately, her own security dragged her out.
It remains unclear whether an element within the show triggered the incident. A source told People, "Amy was invited by a friend of hers starring in the show.... She wasn't arrested," the pal said. "And she hasn't been questioned by the police yet."
Authorities said, in an official statement: "At around 9:05 p.m. on Saturday night officers were called to the Milton Keynes Theatre in Marlborough Gate, following reports that a 27-year-old man had been assaulted. No arrests have been made and the incident is being investigated."
