Emma Stone's attraction to Andrew Garfield is all beginning to make sense. The Amazing Spider-Man star visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show in an episode that airs today and took part in the increasingly embarrassing (for those involved) charitable efforts that Ellen DeGeneres and Shutterfly have partnered for.
At least Garfield, 29, didn't have to get dunked, though we wouldn't have been opposed to him stripping the same way Liam Neeson did last month. But what DeGeneres did have Garfield do was dance a number of jigs because, as she's heard, he's a great dancer. Well dance he did, and it makes for one amazing video. Watch here:
"There will be no music whatsoever," DeGeneres warns in the above clip.
"No music? We have a DJ and the ability!" Garfield responds indignantly. "He's on break right now, no," DeGeneres deadpans.
The rules were that Shutterfly would donate $1,000 to the Worldwide Orphans Foundation for every dance Garfield got right, so it's no wonder that he was so dedicated to the task. He performed the Irish Jig, The Robot and ballet with flying colors, though he stumbled a bit for Gangam Style. But when the clock ran out while Garfield was performing Beyonce's "Single Ladies" dance, he insisted that they go through all 10 cards.
It was his take on belly dancing that really won us over (complete with a peek at his abs!), but Garfield also did a great Pee-Wee dance and Can-Can. He likely has some great clubbing moves too, though we like to think of him doing the Shopping Cart around L.A.'s hottest clubs instead of just bumping and grinding.
All told, Garfield raised $10,000 by being a good sport. He offered up his thanks, but we should really be the ones thanking him.
