Angelina Jolie on Brad: I Just Needed the Right Man
In the new issue of W magazine (you know, the one with the infamous breastfeeding pics), Angelina Jolie reveals that she never actually intended on getting pregnant -- she had plans only to adopt children.
Then she met Brad Pitt.
"I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do," Ang said of her original path. "I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to (getting pregnant)," she says. "I suddenly wanted to. It's one of those things you can't explain."
Now, with three biological children on top of her their three adopted ones, the actress says of pregnancy, "I wouldn't trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn't otherwise be here."
As for having Brad photograph her in a very intimate way, so soon after giving birth to Knox and Vivienne, Angelina says she was totally fine with it.
"I'm with a man who's evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created," she says. "He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier."
She continues to gush about her man, saying that she has "a lot of respect" for him, and that he helps her "to be better and fight hard for the things that I love."
"I do think that I'm in a good partnership now," Angie says. "I think it just needed to be the right man."
Wow. Those are some strong statements. Sounds like big time love to me.
