Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have always prided themselves on their untraditional family -- but if the rumor mill is correct, they're about to do something very traditional. Us Weekly reports that Jolie, 36, and Pitt, 47, are planning to get married within the next few months.
We know, we know -- you've heard that one before. But this time, says the magazine, it's been confirmed by three separate sources. (Three! That's more than two!) According to one of these insiders, the wedding will be "intimate and informal." The magazine suggests that the wedding could take place at their ginormous French chateau, which came equipped with a 16th century chapel, as well as a moat. (Granted, the moat doesn't fit quite so neatly into the wedding theme, but we think they should find a way to incorporate it -- maybe with a nice romantic gondola ride or something. How often do you get an occasion to use the moat?)
While we can't vouch for Us Weekly's sources, we can say that Brad and Angelina have certainly seemed more marriage-minded lately. Or at least, Brad has. In May, Pitt told USA Weekend that they may need to tie the knot for their children's sake.
"The kids ask about marriage. It's meaning more and more to them," said the Moneyball star. "So it's something we've got to look at."
Pitt also issued a statement in support of New York State's new marriage equality law. As you may recall, the Jolie-Pitts have claimed that they won't get married until everyone in this country is legally able to do so. But even Jolie will never say never, admitting that she and Brad are "not against getting married."
We hope that marriage is the cards for Brangelina, if only because their six kids would make the cutest wedding party ever. And who knows? In a few months, maybe they'll be ready to make our -- er, their -- wedding dreams come true!
