It sounds like Angelina Jolie's star vehicle Maleficent is becoming a true family affair. First Jolie and Brad Pitt's 4-year-old daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt was cast as the young Aurora (teen Aurora will be played by Elle Fanning), and now two more members of the couple's famous brood will be in the ensemble as well.
According to Us Weekly, Vivienne's big siblings Pax, 8, and Zahara, 7, will also appear in their mother's Disney fantasy flick. A rep for the studio had no comment, but a source confirmed the nepotistic casting news.
"They have smaller parts," says a source, who adds that Pax and Zahara will be in the movie but don't have speaking roles. "Shiloh was supposed to be in it, too, but she was bored and not in the mood during the day her part was supposed to happen, so she ended up not being in the film."
Shiloh, 6, did have a small cameo in Pitt's 2008 drama The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The couple's other two boys: oldest son Maddox, 11, and young Knox, 4, are also not in the film.
Maleficent -- which is filming in London -- is the story of Sleeping Beauty told from the perspective of the villain who curses the kingdom. Scheduled for a March 2014 release, the movie stars Jolie in the titular role, as well as Fanning and a mostly English cast, including Juno Temple, Sam Riley and Miranda Richardson.
"It's a really great script, and I'm having a lot of fun. I've already got my horns fitted," Jolie told Entertainment Weekly in March. "My kids are very happy."
