She’s a mother of six, an A-list actress and, oh, did we mention she’s also fluent in French? Angelina Jolie has once again demonstrated her ongoing commitment to those in need by embarking on a trip to Haiti.
Last month, Jolie, 34, and partner Brad Pitt donated $1 million to Haiti earthquake relief. Now, according to USA Today, the United Nations goodwill ambassador has left her tribe of kids to visit with Haitian earthquake victims.
Her journey commenced right after Jolie cheered on the New Orleans Saints at the Super Bowl with Pitt and son Maddox, 8. On Monday, Jolie visited survivors hospitalized in the adjacent nation of the Dominican Republic, and she also met with Dominican president Leonel Fernandez. Today, she is scheduled to arrive in Haiti to witness the devastation still plaguing survivors there.
Iraq, Thailand and Pakistan are among the other nations Jolie has visited on behalf of the United Nations in the past.
