Jon Voight is on cloud nine since reuniting with daughter Angelina Jolie and her family this past week in Venice, Italy, where Jolie was shooting The Tourist.
In a phone interview with Us Weekly, the actor says his "holiday" with Jolie, Brad Pitt, and his six grandchildren has been nothing but bliss. "It's nice to have something that's positive!" Voight, 71, said. He called their boat ride down Venice's Grand Canal "lovely," adding, "The weather wasn't so bad for the journey. It's a very beautiful trip. A lot of fun."
While the Brangelina brood will remain in Europe while Jolie shoots The Tourist with Johnny Depp, her dad hopes to return to the city for another visit.
"I love the possibility of spending time with the family," Voight beamed. "It's a very beautiful thing."
