UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie talks to a refugee girl in Kakuma Camp, Kenya. The camp was established in 1992 for some 16,000 teenage refugees who trekked for over a year after fleeing camps in Ethiopia before finally finding safety in Kenya. Kakuma now hosts some 83,000 refugees mainly from Sudan. (October 2002)
