Angelina Jolie and Kids Celebrate Brad Pitt's Birthday with Vegas Show

Brad Pitt gambled on a great birthday this year... by taking his partner Angelina Jolie and all six of their kids to Las Vegas! The actor, who turned 48 on Sunday, spent the weekend at the Las Vegas Four Seasons with Jolie, 36, and their children Maddox, 10, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 3. The family announced its presence on Friday night, when all the Jolie-Pitts attended a performance of Cirque De Soleil's Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour at the Mandalay Bay hotel.

"They enjoyed the performance and stayed until the very end rather than sneaking out at the curtain close," an eyewitness tells the Las Vegas Sun's Robin Leach. "They joined the crowd during the final standing ovation. It didn’t look as if the cast knew the Hollywood couple was there until they heard the buzz in the audience."

In an audience photo published by TMZ, Jolie has her arms around Pax and Maddox, while four youngest snuggle close to Pitt.

"Brad and Angelina were applauding and smiling ear to ear with their children, who loved the show," says the witness.

Returning to their hotel afterward, the family opted to hold hands and walk rather than take their waiting limousines. But they didn't walk alone. According to the Sun, the Brangelina crew was accompanied by "the largest set of bodyguard protection ever seen for visiting Hollywood celebrities." (And that's not even counting the nannies. Or the paparazzi!)

The family was rumored to be catching a performance of The Lion King on Sunday before heading back to California. Hopefully they found some time in there to sing "Happy Birthday" to their proud papa!
