Angelina Jolie may be considered one of the best-dressed stunners at the 2012 Golden Globes, but in her mind, her handsome partner Brad Pitt is even more worthy of praise.
Neither Jolie, 36, nor Pitt, 48, left the awards ceremony with a trophy in hand. Jolie's Bosnian war drama In the Land of Blood and Honey didn't win the foreign film category (that honor went to Iran's Oscar front-runner, A Separation), and Pitt lost best actor in a drama. But at least the Moneyball star had the consolation of losing to his close pal George Clooney, who gave him a shout-out during his acceptance speech.
"I wanted to say it's nice to see Brad and it's nice to be able to tell him not just what wonderful work he's doing in two films this year, but also what wonderful work he does in the world to the rest of the people. I'm a fan," Clooney said in a bit of awards-show bromance.
As for Jolie's consolation prize -- she got to go home with Pitt! Even with his cane, Pitt looked fabulous in a Salvatore Ferragamo tuxedo, while Jolie wore a gorgeous cream-and-crimson Atelier Versace gown.
"You're prettier than me," Jolie gushed as the glamorous duo arrived at the CAA afterparty.
We can't decide who's prettier, but after seven years together, they still make one blindingly beautiful couple!
