For weeks, we've all been dying to know what's up with the new tattoo on Angelina Jolie's arm. In April, eagle-eyed fans noticed that she'd added a new set of map coordinates to the tattooed list of her children's birth places. Naturally the new ink sparked rumors that she and Brad Pitt, 47, had secretly adopted a seventh kid.
But it turns out, we were all barking up the wrong tree: the tattoo is for somebody who's already a part of the family.
In a new interview with Extra to promote her film Kung Fu Panda, Jolie, 35, seems surprised that anyone noticed the small tattoo -- and even more surprised that none of us figured it out.
"Well, if they know that it's latitude and longitude they would have figured out quickly that it was Brad's birthplace," Jolie reveals with a wink. "It doesn't take much investigation to figure that one out. It's Shawnee, Oklahoma."
So no more kids then?
"Not at this time," says Jolie.
Watch Jolie's revelation (and Jack Black's reaction!) in the video below -- it happens around the 5:40 mark.
In the full interview, Jolie sings the praises of Kung Fu Panda 2, particularly as it deals with the issue of adoption. (The film follows Black's character, the panda bear Po, as he seeks out his birth family.) At first, she says, she was nervous to let her children see it, because she didn't want them to feel uncomfortable with the difficult themes.
"But in the end, they laughed out loud hysterically through the whole thing and they just loved it," says Jolie. "We talk very openly in our house, so orphanage, birth parents, are happy words in our house, and it's not a thing. I think they felt more connected to Po and they identified with Po, who they think is very cool. It seemed very normal and they loved it."
Maybe the next tattoo should be a panda then?
