Anne Hathaway has postponed her wedding to fiance Adam Shulman to accommodate her hectic work schedule, but she is counting the days until she can walk down the aisle.
According to Us Weekly, The Dark Knight Rises star, 29, has pushed back the date of her nuptials to Shulman, 31, to 2013. Although the couple -- who has been engaged for nine months -- originally planned to marry this year, Hathaway wants to make sure her calendar is free when she and Shulman finally exchange vows.
"Annie wants to get everything done so they can get married and have babies," a pal told Us.
Until the time comes for them to become Mr. and Mrs., Hathaway lives for the moments her film and promotional commitments allow her to get back to her man.
"Whenever they can be together is like breathing for her," says the friend.
Another friend also stresses that Shulman, an actor-turned jewelry designer, is particularly supportive of Anne's career.
"Adam has been incredibly understanding and has been working on his own stuff too," say another source. "They're inseparable now. They love being engaged!"
Hathaway is known for gushing about Shulman. Last year while promoting the romantic drama One Day, she told USA Today: "He's all the things you want a partner to be. I so find joy in his presence."
