Anne Hathaway Sings Away Her Blues
It's been a tough couple of weeks for Anne Hathaway, but girl is on the road to recovery.
The actress was blindsided when she found out that her longtime boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, was actually involved in a whole lot of dirty business dealing, and the couple split right before the shady Italian was arrested (again). Since then, Anne has sort just been doing her best to put on a happy face while promoting her new film, Get Smart.
But the Princess Diaries star found a new way to let off some steam this past weekend, as she took the stage in a Cape May, NJ bar to... sing karaoke! Now there's a girl after my own heart.
Hanging with friends and family at the Martini Beach restaurant, Anne belted out Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" for the crowd.
"She was the life and soul of the party," karaoke host Terry O'Brien told People.com.
Knowing that just one tune is never enough, Anne returned to the mic later for a rendition of K.T. Tunstall's "Suddenly I See"
There is nothing like New Jersey karaoke to cure whatever ails you. Now this is a girl I can hang with.
