VIDEO: Anne Hathaway: Marriage & 'Les Mis' Make for a "Special End of Year"

The newly married Les Miserables star explains why her holiday season will be extra bright this year

To say 2012 has been a big year for Anne Hathaway is a major understatement. The actress chopped off her long hair for her role in Les Miserables, got married to actor Adam Shulman and received a Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actress.

The actress, 30, tells iVillage that having her highly anticipated musical open on Christmas Day will just be icing on the cake."I personally think it being a story about love makes it a gift for everyone," she says. "So I think that, coupled with all the changes in my life recently, it's going to be a very special end of the year."

Watch our exclusive interview to hear more from the newlywed about the making of Les Mis and why she says singing live was a "nerve-wracking" experience.
